Since 2008 ASG has been the Orcas foundation, providing leadership, direction and staffing for the swim team.  ASG President, Roy Deary, himself an accomplished competitive swimmer, is dedicated to providing the highest caliber swim program for our community.  We want to thank them for their continued support and look forward to another great year!

Coach Kate Swartz has been the Orca's Head Coach since 2007.  In that time the team has grown from 30 kids nearly 100 last year.  She has been competing and a swim coach for over 30 years.  Her swimming experience includes swimming competitively for the Cincinnati Marlins, an Olympic Development Team.  She has been involved in developing swimmers from 5 years old to adults for most of the last 10 years and is also the Head Swim Coach for Oakleaf High School Swim Team.

Kate's focus for the team is to provide an environment where children can learn to love the sport of swimming by teaching them proper stroke techniques, developing endurance and how to grow as an individual while being part of a larger team.
